WHY KENT HOSPITAL: I was drawn to the internal medicine residency program at Kent Hospital/Brown University because of its strong emphasis on a patient-centered care and its reputation for providing a comprehensive training experience. The program's location in Providence was also a major factor, as it offered me the opportunity to learn and work in a diverse and culturally rich community. I was impressed by the program's faculty, who seem to not only be skilled physicians but also dedicated educators, and I felt that their warm approach would help me develop the skills and knowledge necessary to become a competent and compassionate physician. There is a heavy emphasis on POCUS and procedures, which I plan to incorporate in my future practice. I believe that Kent will provide me with an excellent foundation for my career in medicine and beyond.
