Message from the Program Director

Congratulations on reaching this point in your journey through medicine. Residency training is the commencement of your career in this amazing field you have chosen. The next three years your focus will shift to mastering the essentials of direct patient care, gaining medical knowledge, and exploring possible research and subspecialty interests. At Kent Hospital, our goal is to produce a highly skilled and qualified Internist who is also a medical educator; a physician who is prepared for a career of service to patients, accompanied by a commitment to life-long learning. Our residents come from osteopathic and allopathic medical schools, all around the United States, and the world. They are highly qualified, motivated and outstanding members of our medical community. They enrich us with their diverse backgrounds and interests. Regardless of their ultimate career goals, our resident family shares a passion for medicine and exceptional patient care. We have a commitment to maintaining a nurturing and productive learning environment that results in remarkable camaraderie felt throughout the program. We invite you to explore our website and learn more about what the Kent Hospital/Brown University Internal Medicine Program has to offer. We look forward to the possibility of you joining our mosaic.

Sincerely,
Charles Cronin III, DO FACP
