WHY KENT: Kent Hospital is the local community hospital in the county where I grew up. I chose to do a few clinical rotations here during my fourth year, and felt connected to the residents right away. Everyone I worked with was welcoming, kind and intelligent. The style of morning report was lively and stood out, and the way everyone functioned as a team demonstrated a truly supportive environment that I felt comfortable to grow in. Fun fact: I was born here, at Kent. I am looking forward to giving back to the community that brought me into this world.
