Why you chose Kent Hospital: I chose Kent Hospital because of the strong sense of community and camaraderie I felt among the residents on interview day. Everyone, from residents to faculty, came across as genuinely curious, approachable and invested in mentorship, which is exactly the kind of environment I'd thrive in! Kent's affiliation with Brown University also offers great opportunities to stay involved in research and medical education alongside clinical work. I'm confident that the combination of academic rigor, diverse clinical exposure, and such a supportive culture will help me grow into a well rounded physician.
What are your hobbies and interests: Outside of medicine, I like to stay active! You will usually find me at the gym, playing basketball, or spending time outdoors whenever I can. I also really enjoy teaching and mentoring others, and it is something I hope to continue developing throughout my time at Kent. In my free time, I enjoy trying new food spots, planning future travel, and spending time with my friends and family. I am a big fan of good people, good food, and good vibes.
